Kay Michael Lee Studio is in its 9th year offering dance to the youth of Williston under the direction of Sarah Johnson. Sarah and her team of instructors not only teach recreational dance, but they offer some of the students the chance to take their dance talent and instruction to a higher level by being a part of the Competition Company. Those who are a part of the dance company are challenged further, learn complex choreographed dance routines and take those routines to dance competitions around the state and nation. Some of the places they have danced include Billings, MT; Bismarck, ND; Denver, CO; Fairview, MT; Fargo, ND; Minneapolis, MN; Minot, ND; Phoenix, AZ; Sidney, MT; Gillette, WY, and two appearances at a National Competition in Wisconsin Dells, WI. The Competition Company dancers engage in various community events & performances as their way to give back to their hometown.

This summer (June 2021) the Kay Michael Lee Studio Competition Company is embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. These 18 dancers, ages 5-18, from the MonDak Region will be taking their dance talents to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. They will be taking workshops from professional dancers and performing right in the heart of this magnificent theme park! This is a chance for our dancers to represent our town and state on a national level, instilling an even deeper sense of pride in our community.

The Kay Michael Lee Studio Booster Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit committee of parents who volunteer, and fund raise to cover the competition entrance fees the dancers on the team. We are looking for businesses who would like to be a sponsor for the dance team’s trip to represent Williston and the rest of the MonDak Region at Universal Studios. All business sponsors will receive public recognition through our digital and print marketing efforts, such as inclusion on our performance programs and group event apparel.

There are several sponsorship levels to choose from. We would love to include your business in our list of sponsors and show these kids that Williston supports them as they embark on this amazing adventure.
